Selected SPH projects for a representative range of accessibility renovation and retrofit projects include:


City of Toronto, St. Lawrence Community & Recreation Centre: Retained as Accessibility Consultant to advise on interior renovations to public areas, including washrooms, pool changerooms, flooring surfaces, ramps, door clearances and signage and wayfinding considerations for this facility, located on the ground floor of condominium residences at 230 The Esplanade, Toronto.

 

Infrastructure Ontario (IO), 101 Bloor Street West: Retained as Accessibility Consultant to conduct a peer review for interior renovations and compliance with IO accessibility standards, related to the main entrance and lobby, common public washrooms, elevators, flooring surfaces and lighting. Reporting was developed on behalf of IO's client group that was entering into a lease agreement to occupy floor space under renovation at the time.

 

Barrie Courthouse: Retained as Accessibility Consultant to advise on interior renovations to accessible public washrooms, following an accessibility audit of existing conditions to provide recommendations for compliance with Provincial accessibility design standards in place at the time, on behalf of Emil Critescu Architect.
