Services: Accessible Design Compliance

Retained by Plenary Group as Accessibility Consultant (up to 50% CD Phase) to review all designs, drawings and specifications for this 591, 000 SF health and wellness facility, and to advise on accessibility compliance based on Infrastructure Ontario’s requirements for DBFM projects. As identified by Plenary Group, "Osler's health and wellness vision for a systems based approach includes excellence in Rehabilitation and Seniors Health, Mental Health and Addictions and Women’s and Children’s Health supported by urgent care, ambulatory surgery and diagnostic services".

 

As identified by William Osler Health System, the PMC is scheduled to open in summer 2016 and "will provide specialized outpatient-based care including urgent care, day surgery and specialty clinics with a focus on helping individuals better manage chronic conditions like asthma, diabetes and kidney disease. The new Peel Memorial will introduce new models of care to shift the focus from illness to wellness and encourage patients to take a more active role in managing their own health and well-being".
