Services: Accessible Design Compliance (Design / Build)
Retained as Accessibility Consultant for this 80, 000 SF facility to conduct comprehensive accessible design reviews for compliance with Project Specific Output Specifications and Provincial AODA legislative requirements. The overall facility program includes a fitness centre, pool, gymnasium, supporting athletic and wellness facilities, and multi-purpose community rooms. As identified by MJMA, this recreation facility will have a legacy use as the YMCA-operated community recreation centre and the athletic and wellness amenities will also be accessible to the students living in the George Brown Student Housing complex that is part of the broader campus and site development project.
