Services: Accessibility Audit of Facilities and Design Guidelines

(Note: Multiple projects completed)

Conducted detailed accessibility audits of the Cities portfolio (20 facilities, diverse types, 800,000+ SF) including development of detailed Barrier Removal Action Plans for each facility to meet ongoing AODA planning targets. Developed comprehensive Accessibility Design Guidelines applicable to the retrofit and new construction of City facilities. Preparation of detailed Accessibility Audit and Site Planning Checklists. Ongoing consultation with Town Staff and Council, project Steering Committee and Accessibility Advisory Committee members to inform all project initiatives.
