Services: Accessibility Compliance (Multiple Projects)

SPH was retained for multiple accessibility studies and projects over a three year period, including conducting a comprehensive facility accessibility audit of their headquarters (a 4-storey mid-rise office) and leased office space (Toronto), as well as accessible design compliance reviews for renovations and fit-up to OPSEU's Region 5 offices (e.g., new accessible entrance, review of options for interior vertical transportation and washroom upgrades). SPH also reviewed signage and wayfinding options for the headquarters facility to address the needs of staff and visitors with varying types of disabilities. Additionally, SPH was retained to conduct facility accessibility audits of OPSEU spaces used for annual conferences and related events (Sheraton Centre Hotel, Toronto) and to develop a comprehensive and detailed funding application to support proposed accessibility upgrades.
