Services: ODA Consultation and Research Project

Conducted Province-wide consultation with municipal staff and advisory committee members responsible for the original ODA 2001 accessibility plan implementation, in order to incorporate their experiences into a municipal handbook and training manual. Researched local, national and international best practices/policies/procedures related to accessibility and disability issues. Design, development and implementation of a staff and advisory committee questionnaire used during consultation. Conducted key informant interviews with municipal leaders working on accessibility issues. Writing, content development and layout of final handbook, provided in multiple accessible formats.
